The competition test kit is designed to measure compression in the cylinder-piston group of an internal gasoline-injection engine. The compression meter is equipped with a valve that makes it possible to register the maximum pressure, and with this valve you can reset the reading needle to zero after checking the pressure in one of the cylinders. It can be used to check compression on petrol engines.
